Why Have Values?
Values define how a company will make decisions in pursuit of its goals. When the values of a business are clearly defined and understood by all stakeholders, the following alignment occurs:

1. Guide Decisions: Whether it’s day to day decisions, or the most difficult choice a business has ever faced, every decision should be made in alignment with the company’s values. Team members will be supported in the decisions they make when they are in alignment with the company’s values.



2. Standards / Expectations: Values represent ‘the bar’ that must be met or exceeded. New team members, clients, shareholders and partners must understand and respect Imagine’s values in order to become part of our team.



3. Memorable & Present in our Actions: A good set of values are memorable and can be recited by all employees, at any time. Further, we must consistently demonstrate our values in our actions and the teachings we provide others. These are not just words posted on the wall – we must live these principles.



4. Representative of Us: Values are a way to show others who we are. While we are all different in many important ways, we are united through the sharing of our values. When people meet new members of our team, they can trust that our values are the same.



5. Consistent with Vision / Mission: Our values round out are description of who we are. They are consistent and supportive of our Vision and Mission and set an expectation of how we will approach achieving both.



6. Relevance. Our values are relevant and meaningful to all of Imagine’s Stakeholders (team members, clients and shareholders).

Respect
Relationships matter. We value the relationships we have and invest in them through purposeful communication, fair treatment and understanding of different perspectives.

Integrity
We are trustworthy. We conduct ourselves in an ethical, honest and responsible manner, even during times when other routes are easier.

Continuous Improvement
We are a learning organization. We invest in refining our skills, processes and solutions to ensure we are always doing better within an ever changing world.
