ENTERPRISE CONTENT MANAGEMENT AND THE THEORY OF SYSTEMS
Summary: Enterprise Content Management is the organization, movement and retention of unstructured information. Value is gained by organizing this information within the context of corporate systems. This innovative presentation focuses on how "systems" are formed and fed through factors such as learning (knowledge), sociological patterns & behaviors, emotion as well as "perturbation"" (at state of tension or unrest – which is often a prerequisite for change).

These interesting principles are explored within the context of corporate systems, specifically as it relates to ECM practice. The presentation provides background on the theories, but goes beyond the philosophy to directly link the material to ECM technology, deployment practices as well as change management. This content will educated, motivate and challenge you to view ECM in a different light!
